State of West Virginia Department of Insurance Requirements

Licensees are required to complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years with at least 3 hours in Ethics.

The current compliance period began on July 1, 2008 and will end on June 30, 2010. Licensees must comply by this time.

Exams must be monitored by a disinterested third party.

Excess credit hours may not be carried forward.

Course provider is responsible for reporting course completion to the state via email along with a reporting fee of $1.50/credit hour.
